I want to use 1 image per page with the initial image height at 500.
What would be the next height or width number to use for the next sized image you get when you click on the first image? Or is there a way to disable the thumbnail link since the first image is already large enough for viewing?

Hi Reni,

You may want a larger enlarged image width -- something around 600 may work well, but this could result is some fairly large vertical images as well. The work around for this case is to upload a vertical image that's only as big as you wish the enlarged image to appear.

It's not possible to disable the thumbnail link in the Admin Panel, but I can do this for you if you wish. Shoot me an email and I'll remove that for you. Thanks, Van
