hello,
i was wondering if there would be a way to display a page of thumbnails without the text (artwork title, medium, date, etc), and only have this information when the thumbnail is clicked to display a larger single image on an individual page?
thanks,
pete

Hi,
Yes this is possible. To set this up, try this:
- Login to the Admin Panel and go to that image gallery. - Click on the Advanced Options in the upper right hand corner, and then scroll down until you see a large grid of check boxes. - On the large grid of checkboxes uncheck everything in the Private Thumbnail and Public Thumbnail columns. - Save changes
This should make it so that the information about each image is only available under the enlarged version. If you have any trouble with this, just post back to this thread or you can email me directly. Hope this helps.
Thanks, Van

Hi Pete, Within a single image gallery you can only have the same number of images on each page. But, if you are looking to display work divided by groupings, I recommend nesting. It allows you to group together image galleries into a single category. Each image gallery in the nested group can contain a different number of images, images per page, description and so on...
Here's an example of how nesting looks: http://judithpage.com/pages.php?content=nestGall.p hp&navGallID=10000
And here's some information on how to set it up: http://help.icompendium.com/pmwiki.php/GettingStar ted/NestedLinks
Hope this helps. Thanks, Van
