Hello, I love your templates, but did want the home page to be a set of images that would guide visitors to various pages.

Does it make sense to customize from the beginning, before I set up the basic site? Or should I go ahead and set up my provisional site with template, and then price out what a diff homepage might cost?

Are there any icompendium sites that use the template, with the exception fo the homepage? I'd love to see them.

Thank you,
Suzanne

Hi Suzanne,

The customization you have in mind is likely possible, but it is great to get lots of detail before quoting a price. This way I can think through what may have to work differently once things are customized. The set-up you are describing could likely be accomplished by making the "nested links" page the home page and then possibly changing the layout of the images on that page.

Here's an example of a nested links page:
http://judithpage.com/pages.php?content=nestGall.p hp&navGallID=10000

By default, these images are stacked down the page, but we might be able to change this. If this sounds like it might work, we can work out the details through phone, email, and screenshots...

If you are still interested, let's connect through email or phone and I'll see how close I can get you to the design you want.

Thanks! - Van
